The Fisher XV2 Series plow has all the perks of the Xtreme-V plow, but adds extreme flared edges for better snow capacity. The blade comes in 7'6", 8'6" and 9'6" in power coated steel or stainless steel for the 8'6" and 9'6" widths. With double acting cylinders, the blade can be locked into the straight blade position and be locked down for backdragging action. Both the wings can be controlled individually and are protected by Fisher's trip-edge design, allowing the edge of the blade on either wing to trip back when an obstacle is encountered, thus protecting the plow and truck from impact damage. The moldboard is reinforced with two vertical ribs and eight diagonal ribs for superior torsional strength under a heavy load. The chain lift system, powered by Fisher's custom built reliable hydraulics, allows for "float" when plowing so the blade can easily follow the contours of the plowing surface. Using the Minute Mount 2 mounting system that comes standard on all Fisher plows, attaching the plow to the truck should not take more than a couple minutes. The in-cab controls are universal for all Fisher plows because the Fleet Flex electrical system is in place. The Security Guard anti-theft system protects the snow plow from being stolen by unauthorized users. The XV2 is the leader in v-plow efficiency.
